Email Service Issue

8/26/2020: Our email servers are currently down. No system generated emails are being sent for registrations or donations at this time. We are reviewing the issue urgently and hope to bring them back online by the end of the day.

8/28/2020 10:00 am: We are still working with our cloud service provider on the email service issue. We are hopeful that the issue will be resolved in the next couple of hours.

8/29/2020: Email service has been restored. All autogenerated emails are being sent for donations, registrations, and all activities on the system.

If you need to send an email confirmation to a constituent, you ca do that from Reports -> Orders. Click on the order in question and hit the Email Receipt… button at the top of the order. You can review the email and hit Send.

This issue was caused by an inadvertent action made by a client on the email system. As such, we made some changes and implemented limitations to the email platform:

  • Email -> Lists have been disabled at this time. Clients can no longer upload email lists to send mass emails. We recommend that you use a dedicated email service provider, such as MailChimp, for this purpose. Your email lists are still available there.
  • Clients can still email clients and groups who have registered in the system, but the number of these email is now limited. Please contact us if you need to email more than 500 participants in one day.
