1:50 pm MST: We have restored most services at this time, except for image upload and rendering. Images may not load on the public websites and new images cannot be uploaded via the admin area. Amazon Web Services continues to have an issue effecting us, when full service is restored we will upate again here. Very sorry for the issue.
11:45 MST am update: Amazon Web Services now reports that they have identified an issue with their cloud storage service S3. This issue is impacting our services, which are dependent on S3. They are working on the issue and we will post updates here. https://status.aws.amazon.com/
Administration areas have also been effected now and are currently unavailable. Very sorry for the issue. We are urgently considering options to restore service.
DoJiggy is discontinuing our Auction software as of January 2016. We recently made the decision to simplify our offerings and focus more on our core competencies and services. We will continue to offer our Pledge (crowdfunding), Golf Pro, Events Pro, and Donations software, as well as e-commerce and mobile merchant services.
Clients can still add a website page to any subscription service to introduce a live or silent auction and many clients have used this approach to encourage constituents to plan for an auction in advance. But to be clear, no online auction catalog or online bidding will be available. We are still offering our No Risk vacation packages, for use at auctions or raffles.
We have found a new auction provider that we can recommend for auction software for your event. Please contact Sales if you are interested in finding out more.
We have just released a new function that excludes PayPal Pending orders from the fundraising thermometers and report totals. Only completed PayPal orders will now be counted towards fundraising reports and goals. Reports that will see a change include: Payment Details, Top Group Fundraising, Top Individual Givers, Pledge By Donors, Pledges by Participant (Pending orders appear but are not calculated in the totals) and Participant Pledge Summary.
This functionality was implemented as clients repeatedly found that donors would make various attempts at donating via PayPal, resulting in multiple PayPal pending orders and inaccurate (inflated) donation totals.
This makes it more important than ever that you correctly administer your PayPal orders.
Please be sure that your IPNs are set, so that your orders are not marked as PayPal Pending. This is necessary to ensure proper reporting and reconciliation of funds.
For orders that are marked as PayPal Pending, administrators can request a Payment Retry from donors. This is done from the order and allows donors to complete payment without re-registering or donating.
